FSU football may have accomplished a miracle. According to multiple sources Class of 2021 four-star wide receiver signee Destyn Hill lists in the FSU student directory. He is set to begin summer classes at the university next week.

Destyn Hill (formerly known as Destyn Pazon) was the top prospect in the FSU football 2021 recruiting class from Edna Karr High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. He chose Florida State over schools such as Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, and others.

The 6-foot, 200-pound athlete made his presence known. During his senior season, Hill had 33 receptions for 806 yards and 15 touchdowns in only 11 games.
The talented receiver prospect was to enroll at Florida State in the summer of 2021. However, the Edna Karr High School standout did not enroll at the university.

This move prompted the Seminoles to provide the following statement after his delayed enrollment: “Destyn Hill’s enrollment is delayed due to a personal matter. With respect to his family’s privacy, we are looking forward to him joining our program in the future.”

From that moment on, the rumors began to swirl in regard to his exact arrival timeline. It became more of a believe it when you see it aspect with Hill arriving on campus as some Seminoles fans even began to jokingly question if the pass catcher was a real person.

On3 National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman made the following report on December 12, 2022:

After the report from Spiegelman, many fans stated the phrase: “Not again!” We had all heard this story before as Hill was supposed to enroll at FSU in the summer of 2021, then it was supposed to be January 2022 (then the enrollment timetable got moved to the summer of 2022). It became tiring for individuals to get their hopes up every offseason.

But the moment we have been waiting for is FINALLY here it appears!
It is reasonable to question how much of an impact Hill will make as he has been out of football for the past couple of years. What kind of football shape will he be in? Will he even be able to contribute during his time with FSU?

At worst, he was a talented wide receiver with electrifying speed, while in high school. I believe that alone could be worth the wait if he develops properly.
For reference, Hill does have all of his years of eligibility remaining.
