On Friday afternoon, FSU football redshirt senior wide receiver Mycah Pittman announced on his Twitter account that he is officially in the transfer portal.

This move surprises many Seminole fans as Pittman was a pivotal piece for the team in 2022. The talented wide receiver had 32 receptions for 330 yards and three touchdowns.

However, he made the most significant contributions via special teams, with 19 punt returns for 169 yards (*no dropped punts*).

It is worth noting that Pittman announced that he would be out for 4-6 months due to a hip injury.

Unfortunately, it could be challenging for Florida State to replicate his production, physicality with the willingness to block downfield, and punt-returning abilities.

With that said, here are three wide receivers from Florida State’s roster that could potentially step up with Mycah Pittman transferring out of the program.
