It’s technically year four of the Mike Norvell era for FSU football, so it is no surprise the 2023 spring camp was the best one they’ve had since his arrival in December 2019.

Mike Norvell praised his team for their consistency in the spring. They only had maybe one practice that failed to meet his expectations.

The expectations for this FSU football program are different for the 2023 season after reaching the 10-win mark last season.

The players on the roster are Mike Norvell recruits and have finally been flipped overall.

This program is at a spot where they have more talent on the roster than nearly all of their opponents. However, the biggest difference is the depth in the trenches on both sides.

The two-deep is the best it’s been there in nearly a decade. The coaches did another great job supplementing holes on the roster with top talent from the transfer portal.

However, everything isn’t perfect, and there’s room for improvement. Here are my top three positions that need more focus after the 2023 spring camp.
