FSU Football: 2025 QB Tramell Jones Jr. commits to Noles
By Jason Zang
This weekend was busy for FSU football as they had scrimmage No. 2, with many high-quality recruits on campus to see what FSU is up to.
“The Climb” is real, and prospects want to see the change in culture Coach Norvell has brought to this team.
They are a hot team right now and getting a lot of attention, and rightfully so. Below are some quick updates so for this weekend.
Tribe 25 Recruiting Update
It didn’t take long for 2025 QB Tramell Jones Jr. to pull the trigger and commit to Coach Norvell and the Seminoles. Jones and his high school teammate Jamie Ffrench a 2025 wide receiver, are visiting FSU football this weekend.
Tremell said he liked how QBs are developed at FSU and want to be part of what Coach Norvell is building in Tallahassee. It was a good pickup for the Noles, and credit has to be given to QB coach Tony Tokarz, who’s shown a propensity to get guys to lock in early.
2024 QB commit Luke Kromenhoek committed as a relatively unknown and is now a top 75 player nationally. Jones Jr. doesn’t have a composite ranking but holds offers from Miami, Florida, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Pittsburgh, and Virginia Tech. I expect his recruitment to go much the same route as Kromenhoek.
After his commitment, Tramell was trying to get his teammate to come with him to FSU!!! Ffrench mentioned he has FSU in his top three after visiting.
Additional Recruits visiting this weekend
We’ll have more on FSU football’s second scrimmage shortly.
