Joshua Farmer

Joshua Farmer holds a special place because he was the first high school recruit to commit to Mike Norvell. Not only that, but he has an incredible story and is a player I’m rooting hard for to succeed.

He’s one of the hardest-working players on the team and began to find success on the field in the latter part of the 2022 season.

The new additions on the defensive line will likely take away a few snaps, but Farmer figures to factor heavily into the rotation.

Fabien Lovett, Braden Fiske, Dennis Briggs, and Darrell Jackson are all older guys in the unit. The latter were high school teammates with Farmer, and I know they likely dream of getting on the field at the same time.

I think Farmer has the tools to be an excellent player. The way he has reshaped his body since enrolling speaks to how hard he works.

His teammates respect that and I believe he’ll find an even greater level of success on the field in 2023.
