The Noles are in the midst of its first week of spring practice, and one of the biggest questions going into the season will be which players emerge as leaders.

Leadership had been a question for the program the last few years, with mostly transfer portal players assuming those roles. Players like Jermaine Johnson, Keir Thomas, Jashaun Corbin, Jared Verse, Jordan Travis, Jammie Robinson and others took on that responsibility.

Last year we finally saw FSU football become a team led by Jordan Travis. Treshaun Ward also played a major part before transferring to Kansas State.

Fabien Lovett, Jared Verse, and Mycah Pittman also emerged as leaders last year. FSU returns a solid nucleus of leaders from last year’s team, but most of them will likely exit the program after the 2023 season.
