Caziah Holmes

Caziah Holmes is the guy that I believe could have the biggest impact from guys that nobody knows much about right now. Holmes checks in at 5’11” and 210 pounds.

I know some folks were surprised at the burst of speed they saw from Holmes in the Tour of Duty footage. However, I pointed out a while back that Holmes was faster than Trey Benson coming out of high school.

Holmes ran a verified 100-meter time of 10.7 compared to Benson’s 10.9. I like Lawrance Toafili, and he runs hard for someone his size. Rodney Hill has a lot of talent, but the size and speed Holmes has are different.

Trey Benson described Holmes as “hongry” in a recent interview. In other words, Holmes is determined to make his presence felt after sitting on the sidelines because of when he transferred from Penn State.

Imagine teams having to deal with TWO running backs with the size and speed of Holmes and Benson all game and then facing the explosiveness of Rodney Hill and Toafili. Holmes is a name I think we’ll hear a lot this spring.
