FSU football: Ranking top five games from 2022 season
By Kelvin Hunt
Miami
When a blowout win over Miami is No. 5, you know there were some great games this year. I had Miami as No. 1 on my three most overrated programs list before the season started.
I thought it was a joke the media had them ranked in the preseason solely because they got a new head coach. I knew the offense wasn’t going to be great and Miami’s defense hasn’t been elite for some time.
(Give me a follow. I drop gems like this on Twitter all the time).
Miami was already reeling after losses to Texas A&M, Middle Tennessee State, UNC, and Duke. The Noles went into the game as 10-point favorites though some talking heads were clueless and said Miami was the better program a couple of weeks earlier.
FSU scored the winning touchdown on their first possession, and it was off to the races. The 29 Miami fans that showed up to the game bolted for the doors at halftime, and all you heard was the War Chant reverberating throughout South Florida.
We spent weeks on social media pulling receipts on clown Miami fans, and they have to hear FSU fans talk smack ALL off-season for the second consecutive year.
