It wasn’t pretty, but FSU football got its 10th win Thursday night with a hard-fought 35-32 win over Oklahoma.

It was a game Oklahoma seemed to control for much of the first half as the FSU offense bogged down and gave Oklahoma short fields. FSU had a turnover on downs that gave the Sooners the ball at the FSU 44.

The next possession saw FSU punt, with Oklahoma netting a strong punt return to begin their drive at the FSU 49-yard line.

FSU had a turnover on downs on their next possession, which gave Oklahoma the ball at their 44-yard line.

That three-possession stretch only netted the Sooners one touchdown as they punted and missed a 45-yard field goal on the other two possession.

That stretch was key because the FSU offense only mustered one touchdown in the first half before finding their rhythm in the second half.

However, injuries and Oklahoma’s running game and tempo wore the defense down as the game progressed.

However, they had enough in the tank to end the game with a sack on Oklahoma’s final possession. Let’s get into some major takeaways from the game.
