FSU football ended the regular season with five straight wins, including ending a losing streak against the Florida Gators.

The Noles have continued that momentum into the bowl season on the recruiting trail, with one of the best combinations of high school and transfer portal players nationally.

A win over Oklahoma in the Cheez-It Bowl will be the first 10-win season since 2016 when the Noles defeated Michigan in the Orange Bowl.

That win propelled the Noles into a top-five matchup in the 2017 season opener against Alabama, and a win over Oklahoma likely propels the Noles into a top-10 season opener against LSU in 2023.

It’s a great time to be an FSU fan as they enter the bowl game as -9.5 betting favorites, with the over/under points total at 66.

Those odds imply a 38-28 win for the Noles, though Oklahoma has a host of players opting out of the bowl to enter the NFL Draft or the transfer portal.

The consensus is the game is FSU’s to lose, and they should win going away if they continue to play at the level they played the final five games.

The Sooners are one of the best six-win teams, but it’s hard to gauge the game based on how many players they’ll have missing and the amount of prep time each team has.

Let’s look at the three keys to victory for FSU football.
