FSU football will host the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Saturday afternoon for their first-noon kickoff this season. It’ll be interesting to see what type of energy they open the game with and what type of crowd will be on hand.

It’s a game FSU should win as -25 point betting favorites. If they can cover that spread is another matter, but winning the game shouldn’t be something we should worry about because they are awful on offense, and that’s when they have their starting quarterback.

However, it looks like Jeff Sims won’t play or will only appear in limited action, which leaves two guys with little to no college experience to lead their attack.

The FSU defense hasn’t been elite this year while dealing with injuries and facing a tough schedule, but they have played well enough for the Noles to be 6-1 instead of 4-3.

They shouldn’t have any issues containing Georgia Tech. Like most games this year, it’ll be on the offense to show up and put points on the board.

I wrote about Georgia Tech’s defense and what they do well this week. Let’s look at the three things FSU must do to secure a win Saturday.
