Force Turnovers

I’m on record as saying turnovers are mostly luck, but Georgia Tech may be one of the luckier teams in the nation this year.

They bring a +10 turnover margin into the game (No. 4 nationally) against FSU. They have nine interceptions and seven fumbles recovered, and turnovers are something that has plagued FSU this season.

They have at least one turnover in six of their seven games this season and two games with two turnovers.

Frankly, Georgia Tech’s offense is so atrocious, so I think FSU could overcome a turnover or two maybe, but it’s still something to be aware of since the Yellow Jackets seem to have things going that way this season.

This aspect is probably the biggest worry about the Georgia Tech defense. FSU can’t afford to give possessions away, as it’s already cost them in the last three games.

If they don’t turn the ball over, they have the ability to beat every team on their schedule. Georgia Tech forcing turnovers is something to be on the lookout for Saturday afternoon.
