FSU football has done the improbable two ways. They have started the season 3-0 and beat Louisville on the road with a backup QB. I’m still in shock with how the Noles would not accept defeat Friday night.
It’s not that I ever thought they wanted to, but it’s I thought they had no choice when Jordan Travis got knocked out of the game.
However, the guys kept fighting, building on the foundation Mike Norvell has laid in Tallahassee over the past two years.
The result Friday night would be a huge piece of re-bar in that foundation. Now, people outside Tallahassee are beginning to turn their eyes to the Sunshine State to take notice of what Mike Norvell has done.
Check it:
I haven’t watched FSU football in a while. But now we seem to be doing well, so maybe I’ll have to catch some games.

Mike Norvell can coach.

Just a reminder.
Massive win for FSU last night, especially with the injuries. College football is better when the Noles are good.

Florida State just won a road game after losing three star players, including the QB. Seminoles might be different this year.

Florida State is 3-0 - You know the sign of a good coach? Players who play their butts off for you. We are seeing that with the 2022 Noles. Been a long 3 years for Mike Norvell but he always believed - even when nobody else was willing to listen.

That’s a big boy win for the Noles.

Travis out. Verse out. On the road. Against a team they haven’t beaten in three years.
Never blinked.
Big boy win.
last year Florida State lost to Louisville at home to start 0-4 for the first time since 1974. a year later they flip the script and beat the Cardinals to go 3-0. What a turnaround by Mike Norvell and this crew.

Thoughts
First of all, Ms. Jasmine is an FSU alum, and I know the team hasn’t been great as of late, but we can’t only be fans when the team’s playing well ma’am!
Frank, it had only been two years since we had beaten Louisville, but you’re right, but that was a big boy win for the ages.
I think Andrea said it best because even as fans, we have doubted some decisions by Mike Norvell. Fans have questioned everything from recruiting takes to why certain players are on the field.
The crazy part is there always seems to be an answer waiting for us down the road. It’s almost like we have to say, “Oh, so that’s why they were doing that.” I’ve said it a few times, but Mike Norvell has a ton of passion, and that passion is bleeding through to the players.
It’s the type of passion you can’t really knock out or finish, and that’s why the Noles have always been in games over the last year or so. Things are different in Tallahassee now.
