At Chop Chat, I pride myself on providing quality and FREE content for our readers. One thing I try to do is look at what we have as a program and how that matches up against our opponents to derive keys to defeating a said opponent.

This should be fun to get into and will force me to be on my game each and every week.

Last week, I wrote our five keys to defeat LSU piece and felt like if we did those things, we’d have a great shot at getting a win in primetime and setting the stage for the Noles to reach at least eight wins in 2022.

What we plan to do in this piece is look back at those five keys to determine if they were of value and how well FSU football did to accomplish them. Here are the five keys from last week:

  • Win Hidden Yardage Game
  • Prevent Explosive Plays
  • Win Early Downs On Both Sides
  • Don’t Settle For Field Goals
  • Find Success Early

I’ll likely pull excerpts for context from some of the things written last week and discuss what happened in the game. Let’s get into it.
