October 1st vs. Wake Forest

I’m going with the assumption Sam Hartman will not play in this game, or if he does, it’ll be his first game back. Wake Forest returns a lot of their elite offense from last year, but their defense was among the worst in college football.

The game will be at Doak Campbell Stadium, and FSU will be riding back-to-back wins and full of confidence. If we look at last year’s game?

FSU turned the ball over six times, Jordan Travis barely played, and there were a couple of bad calls that went in favor of Wake Forest that gave them some momentum early.

FSU is the more talented team, and I think their defense will slow the Wake Forest offense down enough while knifing through their offense like Michael Myers on steroids.

Scoring Prediction: FSU 38, Wake Forest 27

Projected 2022 Record: 4-1
