FSU football: 5 most impactful 2022 transfers this season
By Kelvin Hunt
Honorable Mentions
The transfer portion of the 2022 class ranked No. 11 nationally, which means several guys could have made the list. Some guys missed the list because of circumstances, and others may not have secured a starting spot yet. However, the following players get an honorable mention:
- Bless Harris
- Winston Wright
- D’Mitri Emmanuel
Harris could be a starter on the offensive line, capable of playing tackle or guard. He has been better than first advertised and could evolve into an important player for the Noles.
Winston Wright would have been on the top five list for sure had he not gotten into a car accident in the spring. He’s rehabbing and working hard to get on the field in the 2022 season. If he can get close to 100 percent, he’ll be a difference-maker for the Noles at wide receiver.
D’Mitri Emmanuel will likely play guard and could become an important piece along the offensive line. I want to put Deuce Spann on the list, but I can’t do it right now. He feels like the player everyone talks up, but the hype is a year too early. If I’m wrong on that?
The FSU offense will be a problem for most teams they face in 2022.
