Chop Chat: What do you feel are your biggest strengths as a QB, and once you sign with a program…what do you think you’ll bring to that program?

Ryan Browne: A big thing that I’d say about my game is my running ability at my size. You see how well I throw, and you see how big I am, and it causes a lot of people to think I can’t hurt a team with my legs, which is far from the truth. I ran the ball very effectively last year and am absolutely a threat to run the ball once I have your whole defense worried about the pass. Another big thing for me is my mental preparation. I am a big-time student of the game and love to study coverages and concepts. I’ve never been in a game where I see something and don’t recognize it. I’m always prepared, and that’s why I’ve been so successful in high school (24-1 as a starter).

Chop Chat: Right, 6’5″ and 212 pounds will get it done. What was your favorite part of the FSU visit, and what was the atmosphere like once camp got underway?

Ryan Browne: Definitely the atmosphere of being around all the other recruits and getting able to talk to some of those guys. You see their films and videos on Twitter a lot, so it was cool to be able to talk to some of those dudes. I think I’m a perfect fit in the program. I felt very at home being in the facility. You see all the banners of all the championships they have won, and I can’t help but think I can come in there and help put a couple more up.
