FSU football fans would like to forget the beginning of the 2021 season, with a team starting 0-4 and the worst loss in our lifetimes.

However, Mike Norvell somehow got his team to keep believing in his vision, and they finished the final eight games with a 5-3 record, despite losing their starting QB for the equivalent of 3-4 games. The good news?

They had a chance to win in every one of those losses. The days of getting blown out were over, and the team showed the ability to respond to adversity in several games.

The program seems to be moving in the right direction, and Mike Norvell continues to plug holes on the roster with players from the transfer portal while developing young players. There are fewer questions about this team compared to last season.

This team is more talented and has better depth. It’s the second consecutive season they have had an offseason in the Josh Storms strength and conditioning program.

I think the biggest question is, overall, are the positional units on this team better than last year? Let’s take a look at each.
