Quarterback

This position goes without saying, as the Noles had a QB commit in Chris Parson and looked to secure a second one in Brock Glenn.

Glenn has been trending towards the Noles over the past few days, but nothing is a done deal yet. If he commits and signs, he’ll fill the need and would be the top target the staff wanted.

Otherwise, they would have stopped pursuing him when Chris Parson and his father tried to bully the staff into only taking Parson.

If they miss Glenn, they may turn their attention to three-star Miami commit Emory Williams, who competed with Glenn and Parson at the Elite 11 Camp. However, it wouldn’t be a great look for the staff.

The perception would be they had a guy locked in if they didn’t pursue anyone else but decided to do so and then didn’t get either of them. It would also make their national ranking suffer since the rest of the targets rank lower than Parson and Glenn.

The Noles have freshman four-star AJ Duffy enrolled this spring, who’s the future at the position for the next 2-3 years.

However, they still need to bring in quality players to force competition and to create quality depth.
