Normally I don’t entertain people’s opinions on FSU football when I know they show blatant bias or like to troll on social media.

FSU fans understand the program isn’t where it should be, but the program has improved since Mike Norvell took over as head coach.

It was one of those it’s going to get worse before it gets better type deals with the roster inherited coupled with a pandemic that halted an offseason that would have given the coaches and players time to become acclimated with one another and their schemes.

Mike Norvell has nearly flipped the entire roster, with well over the majority of the players departing and heading to non-Power 5 programs.

Norvell has made up for that with quality transfer portal additions, including seven of eight All-ACC selections in 2021 and the ACC Defensive Player of the Year in Jermaine Johnson.

Three of those players were on the offensive side of the ball. The Noles return a lot of experience and production in 2022, coupled with more additions from the transfer portal, and fans are hopeful the Noles take that next step in their progression.

One “recruiting expert” doesn’t see it that way, as Rival’s Mike Farrell gave his opinion on FSU’s offense going into 2022:

Let’s take a look and correct a few things for Mr. Farrell.
