FSU football: Is 2022 team way more talented than 2021 squad?

FSU football will go into a pivotal 2022 with higher expectations than last year. The Noles had enough talent to win more than five games last year, but poor coaching decisions and injuries cost FSU a couple of wins.

FSU had one player drafted in the 2022 NFL Draft when Jermaine Johnson heard his name called in the first round.

They had several others signed as undrafted free agents. Ironically, those players came to FSU football via the transfer portal.

It’s more proof there was a talent issue and lack of player development when the current staff got to Tallahassee.

The coaching staff has done a solid job using the transfer portal, developing players on the roster, and bringing in some solid talent from the high school ranks.

FSU returns several experienced players at key positions on both sides of the ball and added 23 new players this spring.

When I look at the overall roster, I wonder if the 2022 team has way more talent than the 2021 squad?
