FSU football and the NFL Draft go together like peanut butter and jelly. The Noles have had an insane number of players drafted since the first players got drafted in 1951.

However, the trend of FSU players heading to the NFL has decreased over the past few years. They have only had six players drafted over the past three years, despite not having a recruiting class ranked outside of the top 25, and the lone player drafted this year came from the transfer portal.

All of the players that signed as UDFA or got invites to mini-camp came from the transfer portal. That’s telling regarding the talent level Mike Norvell inherited when he became head coach.

Almost all of those players are gone, and only a handful of players on the roster were at FSU before Norvell took over.

The good news is there’s a good shot FSU football will have multiple players taken in next year’s draft.

There are five players with decent shots and several other players that could creep into the mix, depending on how the 2022 season transpires. Here are five Noles who could hear their names called in next years draft.
