Big Boy Football

I know the Rising Spear guys went on their media rollout last week detailing the NIL program and their goals to impact FSU sports. I can’t think of a better opportunity than Amarius Mims’ recruitment to make a statement to FSU fans to support the NIL program.

It’s as simple as your contributions helped secure a NIL deal that got one of the best players available for arguably the biggest need on the roster.

The successful recruitment of Amarius Mims would likely lead to an increase in contributions to the Rising Spear platform because fans could see the success. It’s similar to how Seminole Boosters were at their highest when the program was winning at an elite level.

FSU coaches and administration have a choice to make. Are they willing to go all-in and make a statement in this recruitment?

It will not paint a pretty scenario if a school like Miami that wasn’t anywhere in the picture during his recruitment signs him.

It either means FSU doesn’t want to play big boy football, or they can’t play big boy football right now.
