Jordan Travis vs. Miami

Man, what a memorable game in the historic rivalry. It’s a game that Miami quarterback Tyler Van Dyke entered with a lot of hype, but it was Jordan Travis who was the difference-maker that night in a huge upset win for the Noles.

Jordan Travis was 18 of 26 for 274 yards as a passer but also had 62 rushing yards on 22 carries with two rushing touchdowns, including the game winner.

He also had the all important two-point conversion afterward to give FSU a three-point lead instead of a two-point lead with Miami receiving the ball with enough time to potentially get into field goal range.

I will never forget some of those passes on the last drive. Jordan Travis’s pass to Ja’Khi Douglas on the first play was an NFL throw.

However, that 4th and 14 snap might have been the most confident throw we’ve seen Jordan Travis make at FSU.
