Jordan Travis vs. Boston College

This Boston College game frustrates me because the offensive stats should have been different than the result. Of course, the ACC referees had to insert themselves and rob FSU of multiple offensive plays with bogus calls.

However, Jordan Travis had a monster day regardless. He finished the game 20 of 34 for 274 passing yards and three touchdowns.

He would have easily thrown for over 300 yards if not for the referees. He only had 26 rushing yards on 13 carries. It was one of the games late in the season where Jordan Travis seemed to continue his progression as a passer.

We saw him elude pressure and go through some progressions to find open receivers downfield.

Travis had at least five passes of 20 yards or more and completed passes to 10 different receivers. That’s not bad for a guy that supposedly couldn’t throw the ball.
