FSU football fans shared disappointment after 2021, with the fourth consecutive losing season. However, it may be fair to put an asterisk beside the season since they played nearly four games with a backup quarterback that hadn’t played in two years.
Despite that, the FSU offense showed flashes of what’s possible in a Mike Norvell offense. The points per game average increased by two points, and the yards per play increased 4.5 percent.
