Jordan Travis

The quarterback position is a position of leadership by default. Often, teams go as the quarterback goes, and that’s no different with Jordan Travis and FSU.

FSU had chances to win every game he started last year, and the games he didn’t play much or at all were telling.

Players understand that and know he gives them the best chance to win. However, Travis understands he has to be the leader and references he wants to improve on being a leader in the interview above.

He’s matured a lot over the past couple of years from a leadership standpoint, and I think he understands when he’s confident that breeds confidence among his teammates.

I also think he’s proven himself enough as a quarterback that the guys want to go to war for him since he’s put his body on the line so much and played hurt so they would have an opportunity to win games.
