FSU football lost a lot of production from the 2021 team. Let’s discuss who can improve to help this team build off last year.
Last year was disappointing and promising during a peculiar college football season defined by oddities.

Somehow, the team performed within the realm of expectation despite an abysmal 0-4 start. During that time, not to relive any trauma, there were highlights and lowlights, and often the team finished a hair short.

Frustratingly, this flipped in the middle of the year, and the team ended with a 5-3 record. Key wins over rivals to salvage some hope of yet another year with no post-season.

The main providers of that optimism, Jermaine Johnson, Jashaun Corbin, and Keir Thomas have all left the program to test the professional waters.

Johnson and Thomas combined this past season to accumulate 18.5 sacks and contributed many of the plays on defense because of their pass rush.

Corbin eclipsed 1,000 total yards and added eight touchdowns. There is immense quality returning as well, however.

Starting quarterback Jordan Travis (who we will expand on later), Treshaun Ward, Robert Cooper, Fabien Lovett, and most of the two-deep across the rest of the team, and all come back and look to take the next step in their development.

A lot of production leaves, which has me curious as to who’ll improve as the next man up.

With all of this production looking to continue their careers on Sundays, who from the Seminoles’ current roster will fill that void?
