FSU basketball will take on Miami in their fifth ACC Conference game. Here is a look at the odds, how to watch, and a prediction.

FSU basketball (8-5, 2-2 ACC) surprised some folks with a relatively easy win over Louisville in their last outing. They’ll look to continue their dominance over the rival Miami Hurricanes in whom they have beaten seven consecutive times.

Miami (13-3, 5-0 ACC) is undefeated in ACC play and defeated No. 2 Duke in their last outing. The Canes have won nine consecutive games, and haven’t lost since a 30 point loss against No. 10 Alabama in late November.

FSU basketball vs. Miami Odds and Prediction

WynnBET’s updated odds have the Noles as a -6.5 point betting favorites at home. The over/under point total is 150, implying a 78-71 type of game. Miami checks in at No. 82 in the latest KenPom rankings, and the Noles checked in at No. 46. Miami has the No. 24 ranked offense and the No. 200 defense. The Canes average 77.1 ppg, and have three players averaging in near double figures, while shooting 47.3 percent from the floor. They average 35 percent from three-point land and 75 percent from the charity stripe. They average 9.5 turnovers per game.

Miami allows teams to shoot 45.9 percent from the floor on average, which ranks No. 314 nationally. Miami is poor against the 3-point shot, allowing teams to make 37 percent of their attempts. Miami isn’t great at rebounding, and rank No. 319 in offensive rebounding. FSU has to play solid defense and keep Miami off the free-throw line, while limiting their leading scorer Kameron McGusty. I like FSU to continue their winning streak against the Canes.

Prediction: FSU 81, Miami 75
