FSU football head coach Mike Norvell has made some mistakes, but I think you have to respect what he’s doing in Tallahassee.

The offensive line was an issue when he became the head coach, and that unit could be a strength in 2022.

The wide receiver unit lacked talent when he arrived, and he’s flipped that unit with four additions with incredible upside. The defensive ends were not productive, and that position became a strength in 2021.

Norvell knew he needed to replace the production lost and got the No. 1 transfer defensive end nationally.

The linebacker unit has been atrocious the last few years but saw improvement in 2021. However, Norvell added UCF’s leading tackler in Tatum Bethune to that unit in 2022.

The talent on the roster has increased at nearly every position, and we saw development at several positions. As bad as things have been, coupled with what when down on Early Signing Day?

I’m excited for what the 2022 season could bring.
