FSU will win a bowl and reach eight wins

"IF FSU wins seven regular-season games, I would jump over the moon. However, that would bean a couple of things. FSU has improved more than most of us thought were possible, and the transfers the coaching staff brought in probably played out of their minds. If the Noles made a bowl game, it would be huge for a couple of reasons. Unlike other teams in their position, they would have all of the reasons in the world to want to play and win that game."

"Not only that, but they would get 15 extra practices which could make a huge difference in the development of all of the young players on the roster. The expectations are low, the perception of the program isn’t great as fans take a wait-and-see approach. However, I do expect this team to play differently this year. I think we’ll see competitiveness we haven’t seen in quite some time, and that, coupled with talent, should equate to more success than we’ve experienced the past three seasons. Enjoy the games Nole fans, because it should be an exciting season! Be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to get in-depth news and analysis before each FSU football game!"

Well, if FSU had won seven games and reached a bowl game, winning that game would have been dependant upon the matchup and who opted out of the bowl game, etc.

However, it wasn’t that far-fetched, even after an 0-4 start, which is incredible. When fans look back at the 2021 season, I hope they realize it was the lack of depth that was the biggest issue impacting their overall record.

Grade: D
