Strong Portal Close

FSU has several spots left in its 2022 recruiting class, and I think those spots should all go towards transfer portal players. I don’t think there’s anyone left in the high school ranks worth spending the time and resources on.

FSU has two offensive linemen and two wide receivers committed from the portal. They have a major need at linebacker since they only signed one through the Early Signing Period.

They will likely take one more wide receiver and offensive lineman.  They still need at least one defensive end. I’d try to take two players at that position if possible.

I believe they should still pursue another transfer quarterback and possibly a defensive tackle. The latter becomes more important if Fabien Lovett decides against coming back for 2022, but if he doesn’t, a transfer helps because FSU will lose Lovett and Robert Cooper after 2022 regardless.

At that point, take the best available if the coaching staff believes they can help them win in 2022. If Jammie Robinson opts to declare for the NFL Draft, I’d consider taking another transfer in the secondary for sure.
