FSU football: 2022 Early Signing Period mock recruiting class
By Kelvin Hunt
Julian Armella
I remember thinking last year that Julian Armella was probably the legacy recruit I was the least confident in signing with FSU football.
However, once he finally made it to Tallahassee for the Midnight Madness event in June, I felt the Noles had a shot.
Armella unofficially visited during the Notre Dame game and set up his official visit for the last weekend before the Early Signing Period.
All good signs for FSU. However, the change in the coaches’ staffs at LSU, UF, and Miami was quite helpful in this recruitment. Alabama’s class filling up helped too. We haven’t seen the coaching staff send out any other offensive line offers of late, which means Armella is the final target on the offensive line.
Armella fills a position of need and will look to find playing time after a year or so developing in the strength and conditioning program.
This addition will be a big get for the Noles as Armella checks in as the No. 126 player nationally.
