FSU recruiting sets in the No. 12 spot nationally with 16 commits and is heavily pursuing several blue-chip targets.

The thought is the Noles will likely take around 22-23 high school players, with the rest of the class filled with players from the transfer portal.

Here’s a shortlist of some key targets they’d like to sign in the 2022 recruiting cycle:

  • Marvin Jones Jr.
  • Julian Armella
  • Kevin Coleman
  • Kendrick Law
  • Jayden Gibson
  • Nyjalik Kelly
  • Azareyeh Thomas
  • Earl Little Jr.
  • Tyre West
  • Wesley Bissainthe
  • Jovontae Barnes
  • Jake Johnson
  • Max Johnson (Transfer Portal)
  • Micah Pittman(Transfer Portal)
  • Jared Verse(Transfer Portal)
  • Miles Frazier(Transfer Portal)
  • Kayden Lyles(Transfer Portal)
  • Marcus Banks(Transfer Portal)
  • Marcus Bradley(Transfer Portal)
  • Aaron Brule(Transfer Portal)

I’m sure there are a couple of fringe high school players I’m missing, and more transfer portal players will become available as time passes.

I feel confident FSU recruiting will land 3-4 high school players and possibly 1-2 more, depending on how things shake out with other schools.

Schools with new coaches are adding to their coaching staff and could impact things if some coaches have established relationships with some players.

The good news is FSU has solid relationships with nearly all of the high school players listed, and all of them fit positions of need. Here are some things to monitor between now and Early Signing Day.
