Jermaine Johnson
I don’t know why it seemed like I hadn’t noticed Jermaine Johnson that much until the sack, forced fumble scoop, and score for the touchdown in the fourth quarter.
However, he had a productive night, finishing the game with four tackles (four solos), one sack, and two tackles for a loss.
FSU Edge Jermaine Johnson (@ii_jermaine) with one helluva play this past weekend vs. Clemson. 👀

Plays like this are why he could go EARLY in the 2022 NFL Draft. #GoNoles #ShrineBowl pic.twitter.com/YKQM04tScD
That sequence on the sack and fumble recovery came at such a huge time in the game. It seemed to stun the Clemson crowd and gave FSU football fans real hope they would win the game as they took the lead midway through the fourth quarter.
Johnson has been everything the coaching staff hoped he would be and then some. FSU fans have four more games with him before he hears his name called early in next year’s NFL Draft.
