FSU Injury Report vs. Clemson Week 9
The Noles come out of the UMASS game relatively healthy as they sat a couple of starters on the offensive line. The one looming question mark is offensive lineman Dillan Gibbons who left the UMASS game with an injury. He could be a game-time decision. Clemson has a few starters out on both sides of the ball.
FSU vs. Clemson Odds and Betting Pick Week 9
WynnBET’s Week 9 NCAA updated odds have the Noles as +10 betting betting underdogs on the road against the Clemson Tigers. The over/under point total is 47.5, which implies a 28-18 type of game.
Clemson’s offense has struggled all season and the FSU defense has gotten better as the season has progressed. That trend favors the Noles as I don’t believe Clemson will find some magic switch to score a huge amount of points. Clemson’s defense is very good, but FSU’s offense is no push-over and will move the ball. The question is can the put the ball in the end zone instead of settling for field goals. I like FSU in this game as long as they don’t turn the ball over more than once. I like FSU in a low scoring game as both teams will likely look to run the ball a lot to attempt to keep drives alive.
Prediction: Noles 24-20.
