FSU Injury Report vs. North Carolina Week 6
This FSU football team is dealing with a lot of injuries. The entire offensive line is playing hurt and defensive tackle Dennis Briggs Jr. will miss the rest of the season.
FSU vs. North Carolina Odds and Betting Pick Week 6
WynnBET’s Week 6 NCAA updated odds have the Noles as +17 betting underdogs in their road game against the North Carolina Tarheels. The over/under point total is 64.5, which imples a 41-24 type of game.
This is a difficult game to predict because both teams have been Jekyll and Hyde. FSU matches up well with North Carolina in the trenches, but their secondary has been torched by lesser quarterbacks. Plus, North Carolina has one of the best wide receivers in the country in Josh Downs.
Can FSU avoid turnovers? They’ve yet to do that this year and they played terrible in their lone road game against Wake Forest. The weather is supposed to be wet and rainy, which could favor the Noles somewhat. FSU could pull off the upset if they play a clean game, but the probability of that happening is fairly low. I think North Carolina jumps out early, with FSU playing a stronger second half like they’ve done all season.
Prediction: UNC 42-24.
