Energy and Intensity

This aspect is what I’m most interested in seeing how the team responds Saturday night. It’ll be difficult for the players to replicate everything thing they brought to the table Sunday night.

It’s a game they are supposed to win via blowout, and I’m not sure the fans will bring the same energy for the same reason. Will the Noles get off to a fast start? It’s something that’s played FSU teams in the past, and a quick start on both sides of the ball would tell us about Mike Norvell’s ability to get this team to lock in no matter the opponent.

Another aspect I’ll be looking for will be their response if they get out to a 24-0 lead or 27-3 lead at halftime. What will the players bring to the second half of the game?

Will they focus like the score is 0-0, or will they get complacent and show there’s a lot of work remaining when it comes to mindset.

I want to see the guys playing hard, and with the same physicality, we saw against Notre Dame. If they can do that, I think this team could surprise some folks in 2021.
