FSU football fans have patiently waited for Saturday night after experiencing one of the best Nole games in recent memory.

FSU football gave Nole fans a lot to be proud of against a top 10 team. Several questions received answers in their performance against Notre Dame. Several players the coaching staff signed from the transfer portal look like they will be vital to the success of the Noles. Jermaine Johnson, Jammie Robinson, Dillan Gibbons, Keir Thomas,

Adam Fuller looks more like the defensive coordinator who improved two different defenses in his first year with a program. That has led to more questions as the Noles host Jacksonville State Saturday night. As hard as the Noles played Sunday night, they left a ton of opportunities on the field on both sides of the ball.

The defense missed 13 tackles and lost several 1-on-1 battles. The quarterback play left a lot on the table, and the offensive line struggled in pass protection early in the game.

The Noles will take on an inferior opponent in Jacksonville State, but we can’t forget they gave FSU football a scare in the first half of last year’s contest. Here are three things I’ll look for in Saturday night’s game.
