FSU football had many questions about who would be the guys that could be difference-makers for the Noles this season.

We had an idea a couple of players from last year’s team would play the part if they were healthy.
The other question would be if the players Mike Norvell and the coaching staff took from the transfer portal would be difference-makers.

The thinking on transfer players most of the time is they were not good enough to crack the depth chart at their previous institution. They have character issues or maybe they were overrated out of high school.

One way to look at it is the number of former FSU players that went into the portal that never found a home or didn’t go to a quality program.

FSU football hasn’t had what we’d call a quality program over the past few years, but it’s still FSU who won a national championship within the last decade.

It looks as though most of the players’ Mike Norvell got from the transfer portal are who they thought they’d be as they played a major part in Sunday’s game.

We’re going to look at some players that contributed in a big way Sunday night and deserve Tomahawk stickers! I said eight players, but some I combined because they were part of a unit.
