Wide Receivers Still A Liability

I think some of the blame can go on Jordan Travis, and some can go on the offensive line for not providing enough time most of the night. However, the wide receivers were non-existent for most of the night.

Aside from the bomb, Ja’khi Douglas caught for a touchdown, there were only three other passing plays of 12 yards or more on the night.

Kansas transfer Andrew Parchment was a non-factor except for the touchdown catch where Jordan Travis had to escape the pocket and found him in the end zone.Malik McClain showed some

flashes, but Ontaria Wilson only had one reception for -2 yards. Keyshawn Helton had a couple of nice grabs to finish the game with four receptions for 53 yards.

However, these guys have to step their games up in the coming weeks. I’m curious to see if the passing game improves if Milton gets more time under center. He processes plays and throws with anticipation much better than Travis.
