FSU football: Top 5 storylines going into 2021 fall camp

Quarterback Competition
I’m sure you knew this was a given since Mike Norvell hasn’t and will not name a starting quarterback any time soon.
It’s the most important position for the Noles outside of the defensive end. The good news is FSU football has the best depth they’ve had in some time.
Both McKenzie Milton and Jordan Travis have game experience, and both will likely see the field in 2021.
The question is how will they be used since they are polar opposites? Milton can make most of the throws and is savvy with the ball in his hands.
He likely doesn’t run as much as he did pre-injury, but he won’t have to if he’s able to get rid of the ball quickly.
Jordan Travis is dynamic with his legs but doesn’t have the same arm talent as McKenzie. Are we looking at Milton as the starter and Travis with different packages during the game? Could Jordan Travis win the job?
Jordan Travis had the better spring camp, but we saw McKenzie Milton began to turn it on towards the end of spring camp. It’ll be interesting to see how it shakes out, but the quarterback position is the number one question going into fall camp.
