Notre Dame

The Notre Dame game is the most important game of the season for several reasons. There will be over 15 high-profile recruits on their official visits for this game.

This game will be the first time Doak Campbell Stadium will be near full capacity since the 2019 season(hopefully, COVID doesn’t impact that).

It’ll be the only game on TV that Sunday night, and all eyes will be on Tallahassee to see what progress Mike Norvell and his staff have made with a real offseason.

Notre Dame is a team that made the College Football Playoff but lost a lot from that team. However, they still have a lot of talent on the team and will be betting favorites.

An upset win against Notre Dame would shock everyone and raises the probability of the Noles winning between 6-8 games. A competitive loss is something the coaching staff can sell to the recruits visiting.

A blowout loss could destroy all of the recruiting momenta the staff built up over the summer.  The stakes are high, and hopefully, Brian Kelly and the Fighting Irish are the vampires underneath.
