Mike Norvell has completed over half of the 2021 year and kept a lot of the momentum from June going into July.

I figured things would slow down a bit with the recruiting dead period back in play until the final week in July.

We saw as soon as that dead period lifted, the coaching staff was right back on the grind with recruits and their families on campus.

We’re less than 40 days away from the season opener against Notre Dame, and the optimism has begun to percolate through our veins.

Of course, the optimism will increase with the beginning of fall camp in early August and when the practice reports began to circulate.

Hopefully, we’ll be able to get the full experience of a packed Doak Campbell Stadium. The FSU administration canceled two events due to COVID cases rising in the state.

Every month seems to unveil new observations and Norvell’s long-term vision. Here are three observations from July 2021.
