Jaron Willis (Linebacker)

FSU football coaches gave the Georgia Tech commit a lot to think about as he left Tallahassee in late June. Willis hasn’t tweeted anything since he left Tallahassee and will officially visit Tallahassee again the weekend of the Notre Dame game.

He has already used his official visit to Georgia Tech. The recruitment for Willis comes down to which position he’ll play in college.

Georgia Tech is selling him on playing safety, but that’s not realistic with Willis pushing 225 pounds with another year left in high school.

His physique fits the linebacker role perfectly, and it seems the FSU coaching staff did a great job of communicating how he’d fit into the defense in that role.

Willis ranks as the No. 159 player overall and No. 19 linebacker.

The interview he gave at FSU right before leaving campus in June was telling, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Willis flip at some point unless the Noles lay an egg on the field in 2021.
