As summer days near, many primetime shows and most sports come to an end. This is an all-time list of FSU Football games to scratch our football itch.

Disclaimer: As a younger FSU football, fan I wanted to start by saying that I have a limited frame of reference, so if your favorite game is not included please share it with me rather than get upset.

America is approaching the dog days of summer. The only good television to watch is the Olympics, and that programming won’t nearly satisfy our football cravings.

You could watch basketball or hockey, but both leagues are in the playoffs,  and their seasons are winding down. You could watch baseball or the MLS, but it just will never feel the same. FSU athletics treats us well in most sports, but the holiest sporting day, our football Saturdays, has been filled with misery and disappointment the past few years.

Maybe you see the end of these dark times ahead, or maybe, you see the tunnel stretching on for a long while, but we all itch for the “good ol’ days” of championships and rivalries past.

In this project, I have watched as many games as I could and ranked them all into a list with honorable mentions afterward. There will be a rankings system based on entertainment, broadcast quality, and nostalgia, among other factors.

I have summarized most games and viewing experiences as an appetizer or a way to jog your memories before you gorge yourselves on these games. The rating system is out of “5 footballs” rather than stars to stay on theme.

There will be some surprises, some givens, and maybe even your favorites.
