FSU football Seminole Boosters shared a preview of major potential renovations at Doak Campbell Stadium with the Board of Trustees, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.

Seminole Boosters President and CEO Michael Alford have been a breath of fresh air since his hiring last July.

The Boosters have been noticeably more visible on social media, and Alford has been willing to talk to any and everyone about the importance of becoming a Booster.

Not only that, they have been vigilant, showing Seminole Boosters where their money goes in supporting student-athletes and the University.

They’ve also provided weekly updates on where they are regarding reaching their yearly goal. I say that to say the potential renovations is a need and some thought and research have gone into the process.

I’m sure some FSU football fans have questions, and some may feel the money would be better spent elsewhere first( i.e. football-only facility).

However, I wrote about how those facilities are not necessarily a make-or-break deal when signing elite recruiting classes.

Do you want to know what else help to recruit? Full football stadiums and that happens two ways. The fans need a good product on the field and a stadium where the experience is enjoyable.

These potential renovations address the latter.
