Wide Receivers

I know FSU football fans want to put the offensive line here, but the wide receiver unit is the bigger question mark. Not only that, leading receiver Ontaria Wilson is coming off an injury-plagued year. He was banged up after the 2019 season as well.

Can Keyshawn Helton return to his pre-injury 2019 form? Will Jordan Young ever emerge? FSU has two freshman wide receivers who enrolled in the spring, Joshua Burrell and Malik McClain, with Burrell already catching the attention of some with his weight room exploits.

Mike Norvell announced Ja’Khi Douglas will move to this unit, which adds some depth from a guy that saw some action last year at running back. Players like Corey Wren and Kentron Poitier will be guys to keep tabs on in spring camp as well.

FSU football has a player in Kansas transfer Andrew Parchment, who will join the program in May. Until then, the Noles need more players to emerge from this unit.
