FSU football brought in a top 20 recruiting class under Willie Taggart in 2019. The class wasn’t horrible on paper, considering what the team looked like in the 2018 season.
The loss of four-star quarterback Sam Howell and four-star defensive back Nick Cross near the end of the recruiting cycle were devastating.
