The Ospreys main weapon

Florida State’s main defensive priority should and most likely will be stifling junior forward Carter Hendricksen.

Last season, he was the leader in both points per game (14.9) and rebounds per game (7.1) for the Ospreys, a big jump from his average of 4.3 ppg he averaged back in 2018-19. Standing at 6’7, 217 pounds according to ESPN, Hendricksen is the only player returning who averaged double figures in points, so the offense seems to mainly revolve around him.

While the Ospreys do have a few other players that can do damage, like sophomore guard Jose Placer (4.3 assists per game) and freshman forward Jonathan Aybar (1.7 blocks per game), their offense seems to mainly be focused around Hendricksen.

If Florida State can stop him, the Ospreys’ chances of winning this game aren’t very good.
